Pengaruh Self Efficacy dan Kompetensi Siswa dengan Motivasi Belajar Sebagai Variabel Intervening Terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Generasi Z (Studi Pada Siswa SMK Negeri 2 Buduran Sidoarjo)
Education is an important foundation in preparing individuals for the world of work. Generation Z, which consists of individuals born between 1995 and 2010, is currently undergoing a transition from education to work. With technological advances and global dynamics, the challenges faced by Generation Z in entering the world of work are becoming increasingly complex. Vocational high schools were chosen because the vocational education provided is expected to produce students who are ready to go directly into the world of work after graduation. However, it is important to understand how factors such as self-efficacy, student competence, and motivation to learn affect generation Z's job readiness. This research focuses on grade XII students majoring in accounting at SMK Negeri 2 Buduran for the 2023/2024 school year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of 108 students. The sample in this study is 60 respondents who are calculated using the slovin formula.Data collection was carried out with research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study showed that: (1) Self efficacy had a positive and significant effect on the Job Readiness of SMK Negeri 2 Buduran Sidoarjo Students (2) Student Competence had a positive and significant effect on the Job Readiness of SMK Negeri 2 Buduran Sidoarjo (3) Learning Motivation successfully mediated the relationship of Self efficacy had a positive and significant effect on the Job Readiness of SMK Negeri 2 Buduran Sidoarjo Students (4) Learning Motivation successfully mediated the relationship of Student Competence has a positive and significant effect on the Work Readiness of SMK Negeri 2 Buduran Sidoarjo Students.
