Efektivitas Formula Biopestisida Fobio Dalam Menekan Infeksi Penyakit Blas (Pyricularia Oryzae Cav.) Pada Tanaman Padi Gogo Organik
The disease known as blast, caused by Pyricularia oryzae Cavara, is one of the most serious diseases affecting worldwide rice (Oryza sativa L.) production. It presents a significant challenge in organic upland rice cultivation. Various control strategies can be implemented in organic farming, including the use of biopesticides to suppress plant disease development. FOBIO Biopesticide is expected to inhibit the development of P. Oryzae, the causal agent of rice blast, because it contains various microorganisms intentionally isolated from plant roots or present in its carrier medium. The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of different concentrations of FOBIO biopesticide in inhibiting the growth of the pathogen Pyricularia oryzae, which causes rice blast disease in organic upland rice. The research employed a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments included: K as control (0 ml/liter concentration), FA (5 ml/liter concentration), FB (7.5 ml/liter concentration), and FC (10 ml/liter concentration), each applied at a rate of 8 liters per plot. The results of the study indicated that various concentrations of FOBIO biopesticide treatments were effective in inhibiting the growth of P. Oryzae fungus to differing extents. The treatment with a concentration of 7.5 ml/liter (FB) showed the lowest percentage of disease severity intensity, which was 55.4%.
