Studi Netnografi Terhadap Akulturasi Fashion K-Pop Membentuk Identitas Baru Dalam Budaya Dangdut Koplo Di Media Youtube
This study aims to understand how the formation of a new identity of dangdut koplo singers contributes to the acculturation of K-pop fashion culture in the context of cultural identity theory. A qualitative descriptive netnographic approach was employed to collect data through participant observation using online media, online interviews, and document analysis along with YouTube online media. The researcher collected data by searching for informants who met the criteria of dangdut artists and dangdut koplo orchestra owners. The informants included two female dangdut koplo singers and one owner of a dangdut koplo music orchestra. The findings of the study reveal that dangdut koplo singers undergo a complex and dynamic process of new identity formation, influenced by various factors including globalization, mass media, and cultural interaction. The acculturation of K-pop fashion culture in dangdut koplo is manifested through various elements such as costumes, hairstyles, and makeup. This process triggers identity negotiation and gives rise to various interpretations of cultural meaning. Cultural identity theory helps to understand how dangdut koplo singers interpret and represent their identity through fashion, and how this contributes to cultural acculturation. This study provides an important contribution to the understanding of cultural identity formation in the context of globalization and cultural acculturation. The findings of this study can help stakeholders understand the dynamics of dangdut koplo culture and its influence on society. In addition, it can support a new image in the appearance of dangdut koplo that is modern in its way of dressing
