PT Varia Usaha Beton is an affiliated company of PT Semen Indonesia engaged in construction and concrete. PT Varia Usaha Beton organises CSR with the aim of carrying out social responsibility and to reduce conflicts with the community. The operational activities carried out by PT Varia Usaha Beton have an impact on the environment and the community. From January 2023 to January 2024, there were 7 problems or conflicts between PT Varia Usaha Beton and local residents related to the impact of the company's operational activities. The purpose of this research is to find out how PT Varia Usaha Beton's CSR strategy to handle conflicts with the community. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods to find out in depth about PT Varia Usaha Beton's CSR strategy to handle conflicts with the community. The results showed that the CSR strategies implemented by PT Varia Usaha Beton include: mapping CSR programs, conducting socialisation with the community, formulating CSR programs, creating procedures for conveying CSR aspirations, appointing the HR & General division as CSR coordinator, and working with PT Semen Indonesia in reporting CSR to the media.
