Economic growth in developing countries is importantly supported by the ability and quality of human resource creation in advancing the economy of its society. To assess the quality of human resources or the prosperity of a population, the United Nations (UN) uses the Human Development Index (HDI) as a standard of human development. Multiple linear regression analysis is the data processing strategy used in this study. This analysis aims to determine the effect of the independent variables Average Years of Schooling, Life Expectancy, Per Capita Expenditure, and Total Population on the dependent variable Economic Growth (Y). This analysis uses the IMB Statistics Version 25.0 software program. for windows. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the average length of schooling has a negative and significant effect, life expectancy has a positive and significant effect, per capita expenditure has a negative and insignificant effect, population has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth in Sampang Regency in 2010-2022.
