The tourism sector in Mojokerto Regency is in fifth position in East Java. The tourist attractions in Mojokerto Regency are very diverse, from natural, religious tourism, to archaeological and cultural tourism. The decreasing level of open unemployment and increasing the GRDP value in Mojokerto Regency is one of the contributions from the tourism sector which is growing quite rapidly. However, the tourism sector experienced challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely that many tourist attractions were closed and the number of tourists decreased drastically. This research analyzes how the tourism sector influences labor absorption and increasing GRDP in Mojokerto Regency. A research method was used with a quantitative descriptive approach in testing linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, and statistical tests. The consequences of this examination express that the travel industry area decidedly affects work retention and expanding GRDP in Mojokerto Rule, accordingly mirroring that development in the travel industry area can decrease the degree of open joblessness and increment the GRDP esteem in Mojokerto Regency.
